Scott is a passionate blues scholar who has devoted his life to chronicling the history of the Mississippi Delta’s own musical genre. He encourages anyone with an interest in the blues to dive into Greenwood’s living legacy – the artists, the history, the crossroads, the legacy – it all awaits in the Heart and Soul of the Delta.
Barretta’s lifetime journey of preserving and promoting Mississippi’s blues history has established him as a knowledgeable and trusted resource on the topic.
